Gabriella Goodloe-Editor and Feature Writer
Gabrielle Goodloe is an Orlando-born, South Korea-based teacher and aspiring editor. Her love of reading began at a young age with the discovery that books could be both entertainment and gateways into unimaginable worlds. Books series like Goosebumps, the Baby-Sitters Club, and especially Harry Potter were her first true loves. Besides keeping her eyes glued to their pages, they taught her the value of new and unconventional stories featuring fleshed out characters with flaws. As Gabrielle grew older, she also fell in love with young adult novels where teenagers were always ready to save the world or risk everything for what they believed in. Gabrielle has also dabbled in writing, idly blogging and actually enjoying the writing assignments other students hated. Her time writing and editing articles in the school newspaper helped her realize how much she enjoyed helping others strengthen their writing. After graduating from UCF in 2016 with a BA in Writing & Rhetoric, her interest in Korean culture and language let her to accept a position with Fulbright Korea. When Gabrielle isn’t teaching, she enjoys volunteering with high school students, blogging about music for fun, and reading.
